Adam Ant‘s only UK date confirmed for 2026 so far is Rebellion Festival, Blackpool. Announced just a couple of weeks after publishing our speculative blog post on potential Ant derring-dos for the year ahead, Adam is making up for the punk festival appearance he cancelled way back in 2011 by headlining the first of two nights’ ‘Rebellion Run Up’s at the Winter Gardens.
The evening of Tuesday 4th August 2026 will also see support from the Undertones and Altered Images – the latter of which supported Adam & the Ants on the UK leg of the Stand & Deliver tour in spring 1981. Priced at £55, tickets are 83% more expensive than the following night with Neville Staple(s) and friends, so we can only assume the organisers are making good on their sweetener offer to up Adam’s appearance fee.
Curiously, Marco will also be moseying along to the Winter Gardens for Rebellion proper as the first guest to be announced for the literary festival, by which time Adam will have safely scarpered back down the M6. In other Ant-related Rebellion news, Dave Barbe will not be appearing with Third House as – according to a recent Facebook update – he’s apparently left the band to concentrate on reviving Barbarossa Beat.
Americ-Ants get a right mixed bag of Ant action this autumn (…or “fall” y’all). At time of writing, Adam Ant is opting for schmoozing Squeeze for three USA dates in September 2026. Currently promoting their critically acclaimed jazzy new ellpee, this is not a natural pairing by all means (and we’re not exactly sure why Adam is the warm-up turn in his second home of America of all places) but any port in a storm, and all that. Anyway, there are four dates announced altogether so far, including the rather random ‘Bourbon & Beyond’ festival in Louisville, Kentucky – yeehaw (or something).
It’s reasonable to assume those big gaps in the calendar will be filled in with more shows as we head into summer – as one prominent current Ant band member joked in reply to this suggestion, “You’ll probably know before me!”. So stay tuned to your favourite Ant channel for updates…
