45 years on from its original release, the 3rd Adam & the Ants album Prince Charming is set to be reissued on traditional black vinyl with gatefold sleeve on Friday 30th January 2026.

Yes CMG are at it again – with last year’s distinctly orange-flavoured ‘gold’ Prince Charming ellpee for Record Store Day 2025 and the recent red & white singles collection, they are obviously happy with the response they got from dipping their toes in the otherwise stagnant waters of the Ant back catalogue.

Retailing at under £25, we’re probably looking at a weekend warrior/generalist 80s target market audience for this facsimile release, while our Sony keep the record store shelves warm in advance of the inevitable eventual assault on the legacy recordings.

Serious fans and collectors will already have mint originals of the most disappointing (wait, what?! – ed) LP of 1981 in their collection at half the price but completists will comply nonetheless.

Now, when’s Wonderful coming out on vinyl? Eh..? EH????!
