Punk drummer Terry Chimes interviews ex Ants Marco Pirroni and Dave Barbe for new video podcast ‘Rock ‘n’ Roll Confessions’.

Recorded in west London and launched this month, the Clash’s Terry Chimes has joined forces with artist and lifelong ‘Person of Ant Heritage’ Mark ‘illuminati’ Sloper to deliver a new chat show bringing together old punk chums.

Episode 2 is now live and features Marco Pirroni talking about his formative years and life with Adam Ant. Dave Barbe’s episode premieres at 11am on Sunday 26th July, and more former Ants are in the pipeline for a grilling from Terry (which we’ll add here as they come in). Other guests include Gaye Advert, and “Best dressed man in town” Gary Bushell.

Mark has kindly shared some behind the scenes images with us (above) and says, “The podcast is for Terry to chat to all his old friends and musicians before they die!” adding, “However, we do have some younger guests, they simply have to be fun and interesting!”

Top of our guest f-ant-asy league is – apart from Adam himself of course – last year’s funky punky live Ant support Yee Loi and another uber talented digerati Antfan Mr “BEHS”man Danny Sapko (“…choo choo ya b*stard!”) and everybody’s favourite Adam Ant band member Jola.

Apparently Marco’s also hoping for a return to Rock ‘n’ Roll Confessions in the near future, so we look forward to Part II!
