Punk: 50 Years of Rebellion, Creativity + Raw Energy (ft Marco Pirroni) – Online event

05 February 2026

ONLINE EVENT – tickets available
In-person tickets sold out

Punk was a movement that shook the world in the late 1970s and changed culture forever. Its provocative, frenzied roots were in the New York underground, before it emerged triumphant, kicking and screaming at the top of the British pop charts, inspiring and appalling people in equal measure.

Just over fifty years ago, on November 6, 1975, the Sex Pistols gave their first, appropriately chaotic, performance at Saint Martin’s College of Art and within a few months the spirit and attitude of Punk had been let loose.

At this special event Chris Sullivan and Stephen Colegrave talk to writer and broadcaster Miranda Sawyer about their new book Punk: the Last Word, a bold, unflinching chronicle of Punk not just as a mere music genre or fashion statement, but as a free-thinking, egalitarian, DIY attitude that continues to challenge norms and empower individuals to live authentically. They are joined by special guests Paul Cook (The Sex Pistols), Gina Birch (The Raincoats) and Marco Pirroni (Siouxsie and the Banshees, Adam and the Ants).

Please note this event has been rescheduled from the previous date of Friday 12 December.
