He played guitar with a nascent Siouxsie and the Banshees at their debut 100 Club gig in 1976. Future Sex Pistol Sid Vicious could often be found round at Marco’s parents with a bag of laundry and a cup of tea. But as the early promise of punk rock’s cultural liberation quickly soured\, Marco’s dreams of proper pop stardom only grew. \nIn a few short years\, alongside an ambitious fellow punk survivor called Adam who was also looking to break out of the musical ghetto and onto Top of the Pops\, Marco became the musical architect of the global Antmusic phenomenon. By the time he was 21\, Marco was the co-writer of the two classic number one singles – ‘Prince Charming’ and the Ivor Novello-winning ‘Stand and Deliver’ – alongside the million selling\, idiosyncratic new pop masterpiece ‘Kings of the Wild Frontier’ and its follow up album ‘Prince Charming’. \nYour Money or Your Life is Marco’s long-overdue and much-anticipated account of his time amidst the maelstrom of Antmania. It chronicles the breakneck period in Pirroni’s life which ends in March 1982\, when Adam and the Ants split up amongst heartbreak and acrimony. DESCRIPTION:UPDATED EVENT (Previously scheduled for 10/7/26) \nTHE MONOCHROME SET\nA return to one of their favourite venues\, The Continental\, for THE MONOCHROME SET! The band features original Monochrome Set members Bid (guitar/vocals) and Andy Warren (bass) with Athen Ayren on keyboards and Stephen Gilchrist on drums. \nThe Monochrome Set formed in 1978\, and were heavily influential in the post-punk scene that evolved after the initial scorched earth of punk. The band’s early releases were on the legendary Rough Trade Label before signing with Virgin offshoot Din Disc. They also released several albums on the Cherry Red label\, making a notable appearance on that labels’ well known “Pillows and Prayers” compilation. \nThough The Monochrome Set split in 1985 the next decade saw several reunions for both live gigs and further studio recordings. After a hiatus of over a decade the band reformed full time in 2010 and have since toured all over the UK\, Europe\, Japan and the USA\, whilst also releasing eight new\, critically acclaimed\, studio albums. Now in their 48th year\, they are beginning a new series of gigs promoting their new album and playing songs from throughout that time. \n14 ICED BEARS\n14 ICED BEARS started out being dismissed by a jaded music press as a generic twee outfit but over time developed into an undeniably ground-breaking indie band whose psychedelic excursions set the template for the early 90s shoegaze sound\, which is enjoying a huge renaissance today. \nFormed in Brighton in 1985\, by Robert Sekula and Nick Emery the band featured a shifting line-up of musicians across their initial seven-year run\, centred on songwriter and vocalist Rob and guitarist/songwriter Kevin Canham. \nTheir jangly indie pop was characterised by a fuzzy protopunk-influenced guitar sound\, and saw them receive modest critical acclaim in Britain’s music press and approval from John Peel who requested a couple of sessions from the band. The group released a handful of singles for a variety of labels\, including “Come Get Me” for the legendary Sarah Records\, and two full-length albums: the eponymous 14 Iced Bears (1988)\, and Wonder (1991). \nAfter their LPs were reissued by the boutique Optic Nerve label\, 14 Iced Bears reformed in 2010 and toured the US east coast\, the US west coast in 2011\, as well as some concerts in London and Indietracks festival before fading into the background again\, although front-man Rob Sekula continued to play solo and put out occasional singles. But over the last couple of years there has been a resurgence of activity from the Bears\, and they have played a number of Pop Fests in the UK and Europe finding new fans who recognise their status as indie-pop greats. \nPLUS DJ DAVE CHAMBERS

DESCRIPTION:The Monochrome Set features original members Bid (guitar/vocals) and Andy Warren (bass) with Athen Ayren on keyboards and Stephen Gilchrist on drums. \nThe Monochrome Set formed in 1978\, and were heavily influential in the post-punk scene that evolved after the initial scorched earth of punk. The band’s early releases were on the legendary Rough Trade Label before signing with Virgin offshoot Din Disc. They also released several albums on the Cherry Red label\, making a notable appearance on that labels’ well known “Pillows and Prayers” compilation. \nThough The Monochrome Set split in 1985 the next decade saw several reunions for both live gigs and further studio recordings. After a hiatus of over a decade the band reformed full time in 2010 and have since toured all over the UK\, Europe\, Japan and the USA\, whilst also releasing eight new\, critically acclaimed\, studio albums. Now in their 48th year\, they are beginning a new series of gigs promoting their new album and playing songs from throughout that time.

That dream has now become a reality. XTC’s legendary drummer\, Terry Chambers\, is back on the road with his band EXTC (named and approved by XTC frontman\, Andy Partridge). Emerging out of the post-punk and new-wave explosion of the late 70s\, XTC experienced global success touring with the likes of The Police and Talking Heads. \nThe Monochrome Set are loved by artists such as The Smiths\, Franz Ferdinand and Blur and covered by such diverse acts as Iggy Pop and Tracey Thorn\, and the band still features original Monochrome Set members Bid (guitar/vocals) and Andy Warren (bass) with Foz (guitar) Dave Morgan (drums) and Athen Ayren (keyboard). \nThe Monochrome Set formed in 1978\, and were heavily influential in the post-punk scene that evolved after the initial scorched earth of punk. New 2026 album Express Purpose is out now. Will also plays guitar in Adam Ant’s band\, She Made Me Do It\, Rachel Stamp and Martin Degville official \nScarecrow People\nKevin Blue (music) and Diane Scarlet (vocals) came together in March 2026 to perform a one off performance at Rock ‘n’ Roll Cabaret Soho. It soon became clear they shared so many artistic influences that they should move forward from that one off performance and embark on an artistic adventure together. DESCRIPTION:Adam Ant\, one of the defining musicians of the new wave will be touring North America this summer\, extending a legacy that stretches back to the heady days of punk. A native of central London\, Adam Ant became obsessed with music as a kid\, hearing all types of rock n roll and pop on the radio. When he was 12\, he learned to play bass\, adding guitar to his repertoire by the time he formed Adam & The Ants. \nEmerging during the chaotic clamor of British punk\, Adam Ant drew inspiration from the Sex Pistols but pursued his own distinctive path with his band Adam & The Ants. Dirk Wears White Sox\, the group’s 1979 debut\, channeled the sexy swagger of glam through the provocations of punk\, creating a dark\, sexy and vital sound that would later influence the likes of Nine Inch Nails\, who would later cover Adam & The Ants’ B-side “You’re So Physical.” \nTeaming with Malcolm McLaren\, the manager who helped make the Sex Pistols notorious\, Adam Ant developed the sound and sights that made him an international star. Sporting warrior makeup\, Adam & The Ants now sang clever\, snappy pop backed by thunderous rhythms\, a combination showcased on “Antmusic\,” a number two UK single that kicked off Antmania in Great Britain. \nAdam & The Ants stayed on the top of the British charts with “Stand and Deliver” and “Prince Charming\,” a pair of hits that earned him the Ivor Novello Award for Songwriter of the Year; additionally\, the organization named “Stand and Deliver” Best Selling Single in 1982. Adam Ant went solo in 1982 with Friend or Foe\, an album that gave him his American breakthrough with the jaunty “Goody Two Shoes.” That year\, Adam Ant earned a Grammy nomination for Best New Artist. \nFor the next few years\, Adam Ant was a fixture in pop culture. Kings of the Wild Frontier won Adam & The Ants the first ever BRIT Award in 1981\, MTV named Adam Ant the Sexiest Man Alive and\, at one point\, Adam Ant had eight simultaneous singles in the UK Top 40\, a feat that not even the Beatles could match. \nAdam Ant continued to place high in the charts through “Room at the Top” in 1990\, when he chose to take a hiatus from music to pursue acting. Over the next decade\, he balanced these two interests\, scoring another hit in 1995 with the shimmering love song “Wonderful.” \nAdam began reclaiming his musical legacy in the 2000s\, earning a Q Music Icon Award in 2008.
