SNEAK PEEK (sorta): Dave Barbe interview

JUNE EVENTS round-up

last month’s RESULTS

Two thirds of respondents purchase physical magazines at least a few times a year, with a third admitting that they rarely or never find themselves wandering into WHSmith’s these days (no surprise there, to be fair…).

Of the handful of music titles remaining on the shelves, the most popular with Antpeople is Vive Le Rock, followed by Record Collector in 2nd place and Mojo just behind in 3rd. Other titles suggested by respondents were broad and included Classic Rock and Viz (!).

Regarding actual written content you prefer to read, Interviews/profile pieces came top for almost two thirds of respondents, followed by News (11%). Readers’ letters/surveys received no love at all, so that’s this section screwed …ha!

Additional notes: Ant Trouble gigs previously listed for Edinburgh, Dunfermline and Gateshead this week are cancelled. A double blow for Auld Reekie is the cancellation of Deadinburgh – of which John McKay’s Reactor (ft Jola) were set to headline next month. All JMR’s shows are now subsequently cancelled, bar London.
